Female Gambling Awareness Training

We are excited to offer a specialist training session on female gambling and its impact on mental health, led by our highly experienced trainer, Rowan. This session will provide invaluable insights into the unique challenges faced by women with gambling issues, as well as strategies to support them effectively.

Rowan Davies, Welsh Gambling Awareness Coordinator for South Wales
Rowan has over 20 years of experience working in the fields of mental health, substance use, and gambling addiction. As both a practitioner and trainer, Rowan combines real-world experience with an engaging and accessible teaching style, ensuring that participants not only gain knowledge but also feel empowered to apply it in practice.

  • Mental health challenges associated with gambling in women
  • Early identification of problem gambling in women
  • Best practice approaches for supporting recovery and resilience

Rowan Davies, Welsh Gambling Awareness Coordinator for South Wales

Rowan is a Welsh Gambling Awareness Coordinator for South Wales. He has recently joined Adferiad after working 15 years in the gambling industry as a senior manager. His aim is to use his knowledge and experience to really make a difference and raise awareness around gambling and its harms.
