First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have exciting opportunities for Seasonal Environmental Operatives (Grounds Maintenance) to join our Neighbourhood Care team for the forthcoming cutting season. You would work for our grounds team within Neighbourhood Care for up to 32 weeks delivering essential grounds maintenance works.

First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have exciting opportunities for Seasonal Environmental Operatives (Grounds Maintenance) to join our Neighbourhood Care team for the forthcoming cutting season.

You would work for our grounds team within Neighbourhood Care for up to 32 weeks delivering essential grounds maintenance works.

You will spend your time carrying out essential maintenance including grass cutting, hedge and shrub bed maintenance, site clearances and other associated works.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate:

  • Experience of working outdoors, grounds maintenance or similar estate services.

 

  • Knowledge of working in a team and using power tools or similar.

 

  • Understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion and demonstrates this by treating colleagues and customers fairly and equitably

 

  • A full UK driving licence is not essential but preferred

 

  • Numeracy and Literacy equivalent to Level 2 and any qualifications relating to the use of grounds equipment would be beneficial but not essential
