WISH East is delighted to invite you to our free online event, Competence & Conduct Standard: Raising the Standard, taking place on Tuesday 7th July 2026, 1:00pm - 2:00pm.

This is the first in a series of sessions exploring what the new Standard means for the sector and how social landlords can move beyond compliance to embed credible professionalism across their organisations.

 

We’ll be joined by three sector experts:

Helen Walsham - Chief Corporate Services Officer, Bromford Flagship LiveWest

Helen Walsham is a senior housing leader with two decades of experience in HR, culture, and organisational leadership. As Chief Corporate Services Officer at Bromford Flagship LiveWest, she oversees people and culture, the Academy, workspaces, fleet, technology, and communications. Previously Deputy CEO at Flagship, Helen has also led HR functions in both the accounting and construction sectors. She holds an MBA from the University of East Anglia and is highly qualified in HR and employment law.


Sandra Maguire - Neighbourhood Operations Manager, Moat

Sandra Maguire is a senior housing leader with over 20 years of experience across social housing, neighbourhood services, customer operations and regulated services. Sandra has extensive experience in operational leadership, organisational change, customer engagement, and the delivery of regulated services. She has just completed her Executive MBA at Henley Business School, where her research focussed on the capabilities and behaviours that define effective senior leadership within the social housing sector

Carrie McKenzie - Executive Director, Corporate Services, Moat
