WISH Ireland is delighted be hosting a special event to mark this year’s World Menopause Day.
The event is being held on Tuesday 14 October, 10.30am -12.30pm at Ulsterbank HQ City Hall. (Refreshments available on arrival).
This insightful event will begin with a welcome by our host Sharon Nelson from Ulster Bank, and an introduction to Aaron Bloomfield of Financial Foundations. Aaron the Branch Manager of Belfast City Office and who will talk to us regarding the Financial Foundations Programme.
This will be followed by a presentation from Dr Charlie Beattie, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Northern Trust specialising in menopausal care. Dr. Beattie has been instrumental in developing a multidisciplinary menopause service, ensuring timely and supportive treatment. He is also committed to educating and supporting other healthcare providers and partners, ensuring better awareness and improved access to menopause care.
We are also pleased to welcome Roisin Burns, co-founder of Menopause Together, a Northern Ireland charity designed to support the women to receive better access to education, support and community as they navigate Peri-menopause and Menopause.
There will be a Q&A with the panel speakers and opportunities to network following the event.
