Accelerate Action for Women: I Have a Story to Tell

This International Women’s Day, join us for an inspiring and powerful event themed Accelerate Action for Women “ I Have a Story to Tell.

Storytelling has the power to connect, reflect, and ignite change. Each of us has a story, one that carries the potential to inspire others and create meaningful transformation.

Together, we will celebrate women’s voices and explore how we, as individuals and as a collective, can take action to advance equality for women everywhere.

Tara Hussain will open the event by sharing a deeply personal story she has never told before. Her journey is one of resilience, adversity, and empowerment, a path that has shaped who she is today and fuels her commitment to uplifting others. Through her story, she hopes to inspire women to believe in themselves, develop confidence, and find strength in sharing their own experiences.

This event will explore the enduring words of Maya Angelou, whose iconic works, Phenomenal Woman and Still I Rise, remind us of the power, beauty, and determination of women:

It’s in the reach of my arms,

The stride of my step,

The curl of my lips.

I’m a woman

Phenomenally.

You may write me down in history

With your bitter, twisted lies,

You may trod me in the very dirt

But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

(I'll look into other writers, Frida Kahlo, Bronte sisters as well)

These words will serve as a reminder of the strength and resilience we all carry within us. Through self-exploration we will celebrate the brilliance of all women who, despite challenges, continue to rise, inspire, and pave the way for others.

Cyflymu Gweithredu ar gyfer Menywod: Mae gen i stori i'w hadrodd

Mae'r Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Menywod hwn, ymunwch â ni ar gyfer digwyddiad ysbrydoledig a phwerus ar thema Accelerate Action for Women " Mae gen i stori i'w hadrodd.

Mae gan adrodd straeon y p?er i gysylltu, myfyrio a thanio newid. Mae gan bob un ohonom stori, un sydd â'r potensial i ysbrydoli eraill a chreu trawsnewidiad ystyrlon.

Gyda'n gilydd, byddwn yn dathlu lleisiau menywod ac yn archwilio sut y gallwn ni, fel unigolion ac fel gr?p, weithredu i hyrwyddo cydraddoldeb i fenywod ym mhobman.

Bydd Tara Hussain yn agor y digwyddiad trwy rannu stori hynod bersonol nad yw hi erioed wedi'i hadrodd o'r blaen. Mae ei thaith yn un o wytnwch, adfyd a grymuso, llwybr sydd wedi siapio pwy ydyw hi heddiw ac sy'n tanio ei hymrwymiad i godi calon eraill. Trwy ei stori, mae'n gobeithio ysbrydoli menywod i gredu ynddynt eu hunain, datblygu hyder, a dod o hyd i nerth wrth rannu eu profiadau eu hunain.

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn archwilio geiriau parhaol Maya Angelou, y mae ei weithiau eiconig, Phenomenal Woman a Still I Rise, yn ein hatgoffa o b?er, harddwch a phenderfyniad menywod:

Mae yng nghyrhaeddiad fy mreichiau,

Rhediad fy ngham,

Curad fy ngwefusau.

I'm a woman

Yn rhyfeddol.

Efallai y byddwch chi'n fy ysgrifennu mewn hanes

Gyda'ch celwyddau chwerw, troellog,

Efallai y byddwch yn fy nhrychu yn y baw

Ond eto, fel llwch, bydda i'n codi.

(Byddaf yn edrych i mewn i awduron eraill, Frida Kahlo, chwiorydd Bronte hefyd)

Bydd y geiriau hyn yn ein hatgoffa o'r cryfder a'r gwytnwch sydd gennym i gyd ynom. Trwy hunan-archwilio byddwn yn dathlu disgleirdeb pob menyw sydd, er gwaethaf heriau, yn parhau i godi, ysbrydoli, a pharatoi'r ffordd i eraill.
