Join us for The Procurement Act - What’s Changed and Why It Matters, with afternoon tea, on Wednesday 4th March from 2pm at Ruxley Manor Garden Centre.
This session will compare the Act’s original aims with current implementation, highlighting key changes, practical impacts, and emerging lessons for both contracting authorities and suppliers. The event will offer clear insight into the new procurement landscape and what to expect moving forward.
Our Speakers:
Lee Maskell - Partner, Faithorn Farrell Timms
Lee has over 35 years of experience in the industry and has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since 1991.
Lee takes charge of the Procurement and Quantity Surveying teams at FFT, overseeing all major procurement and quantity surveying projects. He also manages all Partnering and Alliancing Contracts, fulfils the role of Independent Advisor and sits on the Alliance Steering Group.
He is particularly skilled at supporting and implementing the change and development of cost models and methodologies for major social housing clients. His expertise helps clients to achieve the very best value from their assets and their contractors, thanks to his careful work on contract reviews.
Karen Weeks - Associate, Faithorn Farrell Timms
Karen has been with the Practice since 2016. Serving as an Associate within the Procurement Team, Karen is a dedicated professional Project Manager, specialising in Procurement within the Social Housing and Education sectors.
Karen’s specialist expertise lies within the end-to-end procurement of long-term asset management and compliance contracts, along with mobilisation, leasehold consultation and Partnering Advisor services. Karen works on a range of projects which vary in size, scale and complexity and cover a broad range of workstreams. Karen is focused, committed and logical, ensuring the best outcomes for Clients.
A Member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM) since 2022, Karen is also an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
