Women in Tech #InspiringInclusion

Location: East Midland Conference Centre (EMCC), Nottingham

WISH Midlands are holding their IWD2024 event at Housing Technology. There will be a speaker panel running from 5.30-6.30pm and afterwards all attendees are welcome to the reception held by the Housing Technology Conference for drinks and nibbles until 7.30pm.

Speakers on the panel are:

Naomi Dobraszczyc

Naomi joined Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) in 2019 where she is currently Director of Finance & Resources. Before joining NCHA, Naomi worked for many years for a number of small and medium sized registered providers. She has also previously held Board and Committee Member roles within the social housing sector.

 

Ciara Mcmillan

With an unwavering dedication to the housing sector, Ciara has a wealth of expertise accumulated over two decades of working in and with housing associations. She understands the challenges her customers face.

Ciara is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Customer Insight Committee at Futures Housing Group and recently presented at Housing Technology 2023.

She is a well-known face within the Housing community and a trusted advisor for Microsoft Technology within housing.

 

Celia Warrender,

With her extensive role at WHG as Head of Digital, Celia offers a unique perspective on navigating innovation and leading in the housing sector. As a key player in formulating the data strategy and corporate plan, Celia brings a hands-on experience in leveraging data for meaningful insights. Her role involves fostering partnerships with tech suppliers, breaking down barriers and steering her team towards an innovative future. Last year, Celia completed an Executive Diploma in Digital Leadership at Warwick Business School.  She advocates for overcoming barriers, real or perceived, and pursuing opportunities that speak to you.

 

Vic Askey

20 years sector experience, a broad range of experience across operational delivery and the last 10 years in Leadership roles, delivering business improvement, change and OD.  She has held the post of Director of Change and Improvement at Longhurst Group since 2020, where she leads the transformation and change, performance, and strategy functions. In 2022 her role expanded to include IT and Data which has been an exciting opportunity to build a one team – to deliver a high performing services and business transformation.
