Jill Murray BA FCIH, President of the CIH

Jill ran her successful presidential campaign on the pledge to encourage Social Housing to 'Be EPIC' which is an acronym that stands for be educated, professional, in control and be a Chartered Institute of Housing member.

She'll be offering her thoughts on how being EPIC can help you Lead through Confidence. We also know members will be keen to here from Jill on her thoughts around the new mandatory Housing Qualifications, and what this can mean for people in and aspiring to leadership positions.

 

Elly Hoult, Vice President of the CIH

Elly became CIH Vice President last year alongside her role as Peabody COO. We know that she'll speak to the challenges in the sector and how to Lead through Confidence to overcome those challenges. Her campaign was centred around professionalism, and how to nurture talent, and we know members will be interested to hear about these issues in light of hiring difficulties across the sector.

 

Susmita Sen, Corporate Director of Housing, Croydon Council

Susmita has an impressive track record of social housing leadership at large and complex organisations across London including Croydon and Tower Hamlets Homes.  She has navigated her career with five children and is passionate about housing and inclusion. She is Vice Chair of Housing Diversity Network. As the CEO  of Tower Hamlets Homes the organisation were awarded Landlord of the Year and overall Winner of Equality and Diversity. 

She is currently Corporate Director for Housing in Croydon responsible for all housing related services across Croydon which includes the management of 15000 homes, homelessness and the supply of new homes. Members will be able to hear Ms Sen talk about overcoming challenges in the sector through strong leadership.
