Celebrating our Mentors’ and Mentees’ Incredible Journeys

As we wrap up the first year of the WISH & Page Executive Mentoring Programme, we’ve been celebrating the journeys and discoveries of our mentors and mentees.

We recently wrapped up the first year of the WISH/Page Executive Mentoring Programme, which was a huge success!

We were delighted to celebrate and share the incredible journeys of our mentors and mentees, whose feedback has given us an excellent springboard for the next programme.

From securing a first NED (Non-executive Director) role to tackling imposter syndrome, this programme has provided invaluable insights and support to professionals across the housing sector.

The final workshop, led by Liz Oliver of One True Path, encouraged us to pause, breathe, and take ‘Time for You’ - a fitting end to a year of growth and self-discovery.

Here are just some of the comments our participants have fed back to us from this year’s programme :

“My mentor has been fantastic - clear guidance, great support, and real clarity on what I need moving forward.”

“It’s been super flexible to suit both our needs and availability - so helpful!”

“Thanks for the great opportunity to give back.”

“I’ve loved supporting my mentee - we’ll definitely stay in touch beyond the programme.”

The impact of mentorship goes beyond workshops; it builds connections, opens doors, and strengthens confidence. In essence, these themes are what drives WISH to continue growing its network and supporting women at every stage of their housing career.

We ‘d like to send our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in WISH’s Mentoring Programme this past year. The engagement has been invaluable, and we are thrilled that the experiences have provided so many meaningful insights, helped to develop confidence, and support so many women’s personal development.

We're proud to have now launched our second programme with briefing sessions held on the 10th July for both mentees and mentors, so watch this space for further news!
