Ocean Media: Housing 2026 - Connect, learn, and shape the future of housing

A stronger future for UK housing depends on the sector coming together to share insight, collaborate openly, and drive practical change - exclusive event ticket discount for WISH members.

This June in Manchester, Housing 2026 offers the opportunity to do just that - bringing together housing associations, local authorities, developers, and investors to explore innovative cross-sector partnership, solutions, unlock opportunities and build lasting connections.

New for 2026, Housing has introduced a new way to access exclusive sector insight with partner-led theatres delivering sector-driven programmes designed to inform, challenge, and inspire. These dedicated spaces will offer direct access to the leading organisations shaping housing policy, investment, and delivery. Here’s a look at what they have in store.

Homes England Theatre

Opening day one, the Homes England Theatre will present a full-day programme focused on the agency’s priorities, funding tools and delivery approach. Hear from the Executive Leadership Team as they outline the new Strategic Plan and Investment Prospectus, and how the newly launched National Housing Bank is to unlock even greater housing delivery and regeneration.

With up to £45bn in combined investment, sessions will explore funding routes, partnership models and infrastructure support available to the sector. Discussions with developers, investors, councils and housing providers will offer practical insight into working with Homes England and shaping future delivery pipelines.

The London Theatre

Hosted with the G15, London Councils and BusinessLDN, the London Theatre explores how the capital’s housing system is responding to rising demand and structural pressures. Sessions will introduce the Developing London project and examine how collaboration between boroughs, housing associations and partners is improving services and system performance. You’ll also gain early insight into the G15 Impact Report, deep diving into the social and economic value created by social and affordable housing.

The Great North Theatre

Delivered with the Northern Housing Consortium and supported by Homes for the North, the Great North Theatre focuses on housing-led regeneration and meaningful partnerships driving change across the North. Central to the programme is Renew – the landmark inquiry examining how regeneration can be delivered at scale. Drawing on insights from communities, sector leaders, and mayoral authorities, sessions will explore investment models and place-based approaches supporting regional priorities.

The Housing Forum Theatre

On day two, the Housing Forum Theatre explores how stronger cross-sector partnerships can accelerate the delivery of high-quality, affordable homes. Through discussions with councils, housing associations, developers and contractors, delegates will examine collaboration across planning, design, construction, retrofit and asset management, alongside insights from the Housing Forum Futures Network on supporting successful leadership, skills, and culture.

The Tpas Theatre

The Tpas Theatre focuses on the role of tenant voice in shaping stronger housing organisations. Explore how meaningful resident engagement can strengthen decision-making across safety, service quality and governance, while highlighting new approaches and digital tools supporting more inclusive participation.

British Property Federation Theatre

This theatre is set to examine how institutional capital is shaping the future of UK housing.

Bringing together expertise across Build to Rent, social housing partnerships, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, and senior living, you can expect to explore evolving investment flows and emerging partnership models – including what’s working, why, and the real impact they’re making.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority Theatre

Closing the programme, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority Theatre highlights the region’s integrated approach to delivering a Healthy Home for All. Featuring a keynote conversation with Mayor Andy Burnham, explore the host city region’s work on Housing First, the Good Landlord Charter, and exclusive insight into wider plans to deliver high-quality, affordable and energy-efficient homes.

Across the programmes set by our theatre partners, Housing 2026 brings the sector together to share insight, learn from one another, and invest in the knowledge, partnerships, and leadership that will shape the future of UK housing, for all.
