WISH London Celebrates Breaking New Ground


WISH London hosted an exclusive evening at the award-winning New Ground Co-Housing - a pioneering, women-led housing model championing collaboration, independence, and mutual support.

What an incredibly inspiring evening we had at New Ground CoHousing in June! We were captivated by the journey of residents Hilary Vernon-Smith and Jude Tisdall, who, through their hard work and unwavering dedication, achieved their mission of building a truly unique neighbourhood community.

This incredible mixed-tenure community is specifically designed for women over 50, fostering an environment of mutual support and shared values.

Patrick Devlin from Pollard Thomas Edwards shed light on how their partnership with the residents was instrumental in bringing this remarkable vision to life with Stephen Morris

We also heard from Neil Stephens of the CoHousing Network, who provided valuable insights into the co-housing concept and discussed strategies for overcoming common challenges.
