WISH South East: Supporting Each Other's Branches to Grow Stronger

It's been an extraordinary year for WISH South East, marked by a diverse range of impactful events. We've covered crucial topics such as the New Procurement Act, International Women's Day celebrations, Social Value, skills shortages, and Building Resilience in the Housing sector. Our events have fostered meaningful discussions and connections, including collaborations with other regions and attendance at prominent housing conferences.

As we look ahead, our strategic board away day has set the stage for an exciting forthcoming year. We're committed to addressing the unique challenges and rewards women face in their professional and personal lives, with a focus on topics such as professional empowerment, leadership development, community engagement, and women's wellbeing.

Upcoming events include a WISH South East collaboration with WISH London on violence against women and girls in October, with some fantastic guest speakers. We will also be featuring CIH President Elly Hoult as a key speaker at our next SE event, also in October. We're also proud to support her "Choose Housing" campaign, promoting housing as a deliberate career choice.
