Events

Feels strange to be writing about events that we held not so long ago that now feel like a lifetime away. However our last event took place at the beginning of February hosted in the new offices of Lovell in central London.

February saw our first ever speed-mentoring event in which approx. 45 women from our sector attended and found new mentors.

Tracey our London Chair kicked off the evening with an excellent presentation on the benefits of mentoring and reverse mentoring and then took the audience through how to set up and manage mentoring relationships and sessions. We then rang the bell and everyone had to fine someone to have a 10-minute conversation with until the bell rang again and we all moved on to the next 10 minute conversation, completing around 3 to 4 conversations over the evening.

There was an enormous buzz in the room and an overwhelming sense of connectedness and support for each other.
