WISH North East Spring Newsletter 2019

We are delighted to share that the North East region continues to grow and is going from strength to strength. The region’s response to WISH North East has been incredible and there is huge support for what we are trying to achieve. This can be seen in our growing membership numbers, especially from corporate members. We are thrilled to announce we have had several new corporate members, including Thirteen, Broadacres, Beyond Housing and North Star.

On International Women’s Day we held our second event, bringing together housing professionals from across the region to celebrate the achievements of women and raise money for local charity, Oasis Community Housing.

The event successfully raised over £7.5k for Oasis Community Housing, providing vital funding to support vulnerable women experiencing homelessness in the North East.

The Board continues to meet on a monthly basis and is currently planning our next event which is going to focus on the Imposter Syndrome.
