Director of Strategic Asset Management
Location: Hybrid between our Mariner House, Dartford office and home
Salary: Circa £90,000 per annum plus a Car Allowance of £2,411 per annum
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

We are now looking for an exceptional Director of Strategic Asset Management to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our property portfolio and enhancing the lives of our customers.

The opportunity:
As Director of Strategic Asset Management, you’ll lead the development and delivery of our long-term asset strategy, ensuring our homes are fit for the future, meet regulatory expectations, support our ambitions for net zero and sustainability all whilst supporting Moats continued financial strength.
You’ll oversee major investment programmes, including retrofit and planned works, ensuring value for money, operational excellence, and outstanding customer outcomes. Working closely with the Board, Executive Team, and key stakeholders, you'll provide critical insight, assurance, and leadership across the organisation.
What you’ll be leading:
Strategic vision: Develop and deliver long, medium, and short-term asset management strategies (1–30 years) including investment and divestment roadmaps for the assets we own
Sustainability & compliance: Drive our net zero ambitions and ensure compliance with evolving building safety and housing standards
Investment excellence: Oversee large-scale capital programmes and major works, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality
Data-led transformation: Champion the use of data and intelligence to improve services and decision-making
Commercial performance: Embed strong financial discipline, procurement strategy, and contract management
Customer focus: Place customer experience, choice, and engagement at the heart of everything we do
Leadership: Inspire high-performing teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
