About the Role:

As a Neighbourhood Officer, you’ll play a key role in providing a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service across your locality. You’ll actively engage with residents, spending time out on your patch to understand local issues, build relationships, and make a real difference in the community.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering high-quality tenancy and estate management services

Managing a defined patch, engaging with tenants, and resolving local issues

Handling tenancy changes, allocations, and low-level anti-social behaviour

Supporting residents to sustain their tenancies and access wider services

Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to ensure joined-up service delivery

Ensuring estates are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant standards

Promoting WCHG’s values through excellent customer service and community engagement

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in tenancy and estate management within a housing environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer care

Ability to handle low-level ASB, allocations, and tenancy issues effectively

Good knowledge of housing-related legislation and best practice (desirable)

A proactive and visible approach to working within communities

Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to travel between sites.
