At Connexus, our Repairs team maintain and prepare our properties, to ensure every home represents an opportunity for someone to have a safe, affordable place to live. The role of Carpenter Multi Skilled, within the Repairs team, is to deliver Multi-Skilled Carpentry repairs and to carry out other relevant building maintenance works, as required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and capability in Multi-Skilled Carpentry works.  You will be capable of working independently but also as a key part of a team.

All work is planned and issued electronically; training will be given in this, but basic ICT skills are a necessity. You must be capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You will be based from home with occasional travel to our offices but, normally directly to site each day and covering all geographical areas of Connexus Housing.

• A competent ability in Carpentry with skills in multi skill elements.
• Reliable, self-motivated and flexible attitude.
• Effective and efficient ways of working, including excellent time management techniques.
• Excellent customer service attributes and behaviours, enhancing the customers experience.
• Team player
• Participate in the repairs and maintenance out-of-hours emergency service when required and comply with the company’s agreed call-out operational procedures.
• Served an apprenticeship in Carpentry or obtained an equivalent City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or 3 in Carpentry
