Length of Role:
12 month fixed term contract
Purpose of the job:
To support the effective delivery of the Warm Homes project across South Lakes Housing (SLH) through effective administration of the project. This role will support the project team with ensuring that all administration of the project is delivered to the highest standard of accuracy and on time.
This will be delivered through: -
• Co-ordination of all administration and reporting in relation to the delivery of the project is delivered on time, to meet all the needs of the funders
• Maintaining all project management paperwork for the project delivery team
• Supporting project team with administration relating to the delivery of the Warm Homes project. For example: - Contractor invoices, purchasing, data collation, orders are actioned and completed.
The role:
We have funding for an exciting programme of work with the aim to retrofit homes across the South Lakes area. This work will have an impact upon the residents, as it happens but will leave the residents with a home that is more energy efficient, cheaper to run and more pleasant environment to live in. We have a two-year window to complete this work.
This role is an essential part of the Project delivery team, helping the different team members do their jobs effectively and efficiently. This role will mainly supporting the Project Manager, Resident Liaison Officer and Project board to support the administration and record keeping of this project. Ensuring we maintain records of work done, costs associated with the delivery of the project and ensuring that we can accurately report on this to the funders and SLH board
Key Accountabilities:
1. To support the Project delivery team with the work of delivering the WARM HOMES project across SLH portfolios
2. To collate data for reporting financial costs, achievements against targets, and other project related outcomes
3. To support the Resident liaison officer with the delivery of resident engagement plan
4. To work across the SLH team, bringing in expertise to ensure the best outcomes for the delivery of our service.
5. To assist the Project Manager in the management of the contractor relationships
6. To be a proactive member of the SLH team; continually seeking to improve outcomes and develop your own skills and the performance of the team. You will seek to improve processes and ensure value for money.
7. To attend and take minutes as required to meetings of the Board, relevant Committees and partnerships.
8. To promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and ensure you and colleagues work in accordance with the legislative and regulatory requirements at all times.
