We’re looking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified individual into the role of Plasterer/ Damp Proofer within our Damp and Mould team. This role will entail working on our properties throughout the North-East.



About The Role:

We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Plasterer / Damp Proofer to join our expanding Property Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services that reflect our commitment to putting customers first and driving continuous improvement.

As part of our newly formed Damp and Mould Team, you’ll help us tackle one of the most important challenges in maintaining safe, healthy homes.



About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have completed a recognised plastering trade apprenticeship or possess equivalent, relevant experience. You’ll need to demonstrate a high level of skill across all aspects of plastering — from minor repairs to large-scale works — with excellent attention to detail in a variety of settings, including occupied, void, domestic, and non-domestic properties.



As a Plasterer / Damp Proofer at Karbon Homes you will be expected to carry out the following tasks.

• Boarding and skimming
• Dot and dabbing
• Rendering
• Damp proof course injection and hacking off
• Tanking membrane
• Application of waterproof coating
• A good knowledge of damp and mould

We’re also looking for someone with relevant qualifications or practical experience in additional trades such as brickwork, paving, and tiling

You should have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, have strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service with a solid understanding of health and safety practices

A full UK driving license is essential.

Key Details:

Plasterer – Permanent role

Salary is £34,408 per annum

Location: North East.

37 Hours per week
