5383 Smart Meter Engineer - Rubix M & E

We’re currently recruiting Gas Engineers across Leicester, Nottingham, Coventry and Northampton  with both permanent and subcontract opportunities available.

Permanent roles offer £40,000 - £70,000+ per year, with a van, fuel card, annual leave and company benefits, while subcontractors can earn £1,000 - £2,500pw

Salary: £40,000–£80,000+ package



Role Overview:

We are seeking skilled Smart Meter Engineers to work on domestic or commercial metering projects across the UK. You will install, maintain, and commission gas and electric meters, including commercial, three-phase, and smart metering installations, ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory standards. This role is perfect for engineers looking to expand their technical experience and progress their career in the metering sector.



Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Dual Fuel Engineer, Smart Meter Engineer, or Meter Installer
• Fully qualified in gas and electric metering
• Experienced Dual Fuel Engineer with commercial or three-phase metering desirable
• Strong understanding of metering regulations and safety standards
• Full UK driving licence and excellent customer service skills
