We Need You!

We have recently had to say goodbye (and a big thank you of course) to Nikki Waud who has chaired and co-chaired WISH North Wales for several years.  Nikki was instrumental in getting this region off the ground and we’re incredibly grateful for the time she gave.  Nikki also represented the region as a director on the WISH CIC board for a while.  Nikki changed jobs a little while ago and can’t quite fit the WISH role in too.

Most recently, Nikki was co-chair alongside Gemma Shone from Clwyd Alyn.  Gemma has been doing great job of managing things recently but we need to look for some new board members and someone to take on the role of co-chair alongside Gemma. 

Being one of our regional board members is a great opportunity to network with some amazing women whilst helping to support so many more.  The time commitment does vary.  Ideally there will be a regional board meeting approximately once every 4 – 6 weeks (probably online) but organising events should be shared.  Lots of support is given centrally if needed.  If you are interested in joining the North Wales board, please send an email to Gill Cook, Membership & Admin Coordinator, at [email protected] and we can arrange a time to have a quick chat and you can ask any questions you might have.  I do hope you’ll consider joining us!
