On Monday 6th March the WISH North West Board jointly hosted a fabulous International Women’s Day breakfast event with Women in Property North West.
Diane Modahl MBE was the guest speaker and she inspired everyone there with her powerful story about overcoming adversity in sport and subsequently creating the Diane Modahl Sports Foundation alongside her husband. The Foundation works with young people from within the top 20% areas of deprivation across the North West, using sport as a vehicle for change.
Those in attendance heard more about Diane’s story, had the opportunity to network and they heard our news about an exciting fundraising summer challenge that Women in Property and Women in Social Housing are organising for the Foundation….watch this space!
