For our South East region, November’s event focused on encouraging members to be bold! With guest speakers, Kim Newman, Managing Director at PML Group and Janine Green, award-winning specialist in community safety and anti-social behaviour, members discovered how to visualise where you want to be and how to have the confidence to get there.

Key takeaways included how you can manage your mindset, preparation, content, delivery and audience to make yourself feel more comfortable and how you can challenge your own thoughts to remind yourself that you can do something. Janine spoke about building an evidence bank where you can store a collection of positive feedback you’ve received so you can drop into it at any time.

Following that, Kim spoke passionately about the spirit of collaboration and partnership, sharing advise and insight about how we can collaborate to create confidence. She spoke about how we need to acknowledge the things we do differently because that makes working together easier and how we should pick up the phone more often to resolve and collaborate.

The team at WISH South East are hosting their Christmas event on Wednesday 16^th December where they will be looking ahead to 2021 and discussing event topics that can support members through 2021.
