A good Fire Safety management plan relies on sound knowledge management, using the data we hold to shape the way we deliver our objective of providing safe, decent, energy efficient homes that meet the needs of modern living for our customers.

Key tasks & Responsibilities:

- Leading all aspects of the delivery of fire safety works

- Managing a corporate fire door replacement program across our portfolio

- Ensuring works data and servicing records are maintained accurately, managing regular service and maintenance inspections, working with our inhouse Fire Safety Assets Team

- Managing all aspects of contract management

- Lead for specialist advise for Fire Safety

- Support and develop our relationship with Kent Fire & Rescue service (KFRS)

- Fire Safety champion within mhs

- Review the changing legislative landscape and ensure that mhs adopt new policies and procedures in the line with any changes

- Generating & Managing Work Schedules

- Compliance Management

- Post Delivery / Quality Assurance



You'll need:

- Passion about all things related to driving forward fire and customer safety

- A demonstrable background in Fire Safety Management, from high level oversight to detailed management of actions relating to remedial works

- Strong compliancy and technical knowledge and skills particularly with regards to Fire Safety Management

- The ability to maintain a focus on the strategic big picture as well as detail of project delivery, quality assurance and compliance

- The ability to be a team player, with a proven track record of effective partnership working

- Good financial skills, and a solid understanding of value for money

- Very strong people, budgetary and contract management skills

- First class communication and presentation skills with a commitment to excellent customer experience and service

- Compliancy Qualifications in Fire Safety Management or equivalent significant management experience in these compliancy areas

- Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development
